The A List

The A List was an Adult Contemporary network chart show presented by Nick Snaith, from February 2006 to December 2007.

Until November 2006 is was also presented by Melanie Sykes (along with Nick Snaith).

It was produced by UBC Media Group for hit40uk Ltd, sponsored by Baileys and compiled by the Official UK Charts Company until July 2007. From July it was produced in house by Heart 106.2's owners Global Radio.

The A List was broadcast on over 60 radio stations across the UK including Heart 106.2 in London, 105.4 Century FM in Manchester and Real Radio in Scotland. Like hit40uk and Fresh 40 it aired on Sundays 4pm - 7pm.

It was broadcast from the studios of Heart 106.2 in London, it also had two sister charts hit40uk and Fresh 40.

All three were designed to complement each other with The A List as the AC chart, hit40uk as the CHR chart and Fresh 40 the Dance and Urban chart.

Gcap Media looked after Sales for all three charts, until October 2007. They now only sell hit40uk.
