Chrystal Radio
Chrystal Radio is a hospital radio station broadcasting to Sheffield Children's Hospital. The station was established in 1984. It broadcasts over 50 hours of live shows a week and is currently the only independently run station in any Children's Hospital in the UK.
Famous faces who've previously worked at Chrystal include Anthony Gay, who went on to work at BRMB,Hallam FM, and is now Programme Director at Rock FM, after looking after the affairs of Manchester's Key 103. Anthony was the first presenter on Chrystal Radio.
Richard McCourt, now the Dick in 'Dick and Dom', was also a presenter at the station, as was Magic AM's Chris Darlow, Juice 107.6's Richie Pearson, Gav Richards of Galaxy FM in Newcastle,Jon Holling of Tower FM, Ben Day (107.1 The Severn's breakfast show presenter) and Real Radio Yorkshire presenter James Cusack.
