A presenter on 96.3 Rock Radio has banned all songs by AC/DC until further notice, after the group failed to include Scotland on their world tour. (more)

Absolut sues Absolute

The Swedish vodka brand Absolut is launching legal proceedings against Absolute Radio for infringement of its trademark.The Swedish company thinks Brits will be confused, and therefore will not be able to work out the difference between a rock radio station and a drink. (more)

Steve Berry has been announced as the breakfast presenter on Manchester's soon-to-launch Rock Radio. Berry is known for his work as a specialist motorcycling presenter on Top Gear. Mancunian broadcaster Mike Sweeney was recently announced as the weekday presenter on the station. (more)
