Freelance Broadcast Journalist, The Coast 106

This job is located in Southampton (map)

The exciting new radio station in the south, The Coast, wants to hear from potential experienced freelance broadcast journalists for occasional shifts.

You will need to have a good track-record in writing crisp clean news stories, presenting mature on-air bulletins, and be able to work under pressure, to deadlines - largely unsupervised.

We want someone capable, credible and reliable to broadcast to our discerning audience of 40 plus. This is not a job suitable for beginners.

A good knowledge of Burli would be an advantage, and - ideally - applicants should live in or near our region.
