Global Radio are looking for two enthusiastic and self motivated Broadcast Engineers. The posts are located in the East region (based in Chelmsford) and the South Region (based in Fareham).

Broadcast Engineers in Global Radio are fully rounded individuals with responsibility not only for Broadcast technology but also for a wide range of other systems as well, including the station’s IT, network, telephone and building systems. They are members of a team of engineers who look after a number of stations in their area.

The successful candidates will be able to work on their own, have a good knowledge of audio and IT systems and repair procedures. They will be effective communicators and able to form good working relationships across the board including with the Programming and Commercial staff, as well as within the Technology Department. They will be able to work logically and calmly under pressure, and be able to plan and carry out occasional OBs.

A full driving licence is required, and a company car will be provided.
