Amber Sound FM is a brand new radio station due to launch soon under a new Ofcom 5 year community licence.

The station will cover the vibrant and beautiful rural area of Amber Valley in Derbyshire which sits between the cities of Derby and Nottingham.

As a community station we are 'not for profit' in nature and have a superb team of volunteers that have worked for many years to achieve our goal of a full time station.

We have a number of opportunities for talented individuals to join our happy group in many areas of operation.

Producers.

Positions are available across the board for people who want to be involved in the production of on air programming rather than being centre stage as presenter.

The job involves everything from research prior to the show going on air, producing some show feature items on the fly, answering phones during competitions / phone in's etc.

You will work with a specific presenter(s) together with the aim of producing first class radio.

You may also wish to be involved in other aspects of the station.

Experience is not essential as you will pick up the post as you go along. It's an excellent opportunity to get involved in radio.
