A rare opportunity has come up to take on one of the key management roles at the BBC's radio station for London.
BBC London 94.9 is looking for an exceptional Assistant Editor with significant editorial experience and radio programming knowledge, combined with strong leadership and management skills.
Working alongside and deputising for the Editor, you’ll drive the editorial process with a thorough understanding of our diverse local audience and how to serve it. You'll enthuse and energise your team, taking the initiative to originate and bring to air compelling ideas to increase reach and share.
At BBC London 94.9, the Assistant Editor will lead on the marketing, press and partnerships for the station and is expected to have an understanding of multi-platform working as it affects the station, working collaboratively with colleagues from television and online
