Broadcast Systems Engineer, Rock FM & Magic 999

This job is located in Preston, Lancashire (map)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team at Rock FM and Magic 999 as Broadcast Systems Engineer.

You’ll be responsible for all technical and broadcast equipment on site, and be the person the station turns to for technical help and advice in the first instance. You’ll help manage and execute the technical set up/support for outside broadcasts as required. Other duties will include general day to day facilities management and ad hoc project work.

It is also anticipated that you will spend on average 2 days per week providing support and training for our audio systems across the group. An in depth knowledge of the Dalet suite of applications is therefore highly desirable.

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background. They will be a highly motivated and organised individual with great attention to detail and a strong team player who will work closely with the Rock FM management team and the technology teams across the group. This is an extremely busy but varied role and travelling to some of the groups other Radio stations may be required.
