96.3 Rock Radio is celebrating its first birthday with a series of gigs with the first on 10th January at the Garage in Glasgow a sell-out, raising funds for Nordoff-Robbins Scotland.
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band have signed up as the final headline act for the gig joining Thunder, Gun, Ricky Warwick and Stumpy from The Almighty.
Ted McKenna from The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (SAHB) said: "We always did our best work when we were sharing the stage with other bands. We'd listen to how good they were and say, ‘We've got to blow them off stage’. So we're looking forward to having a party night with the rest of the bands... but they have been warned!"
Ciaran O’Toole, head of presentation and organiser of the gig said: "With the addition of the SAHB to the bill for the gig on 10th January, this is a great way to start 2008. It’s going to be a night that lucky ticket holders will never forget, but may not remember!"
